Gamindo, an Italian platform for corporate learning, has closed a €1.4 million Seed funding round to fuel product expansion and geographic scaling. The company is simultaneously unveiling a new business unit dedicated to training employees on the practical and ethical deployment of AI tools at work.
Gamindo's core offering enables organisations to convert internal training materials into interactive, measurable learning programmes without requiring coding expertise. The platform addresses shortcomings inherent in conventional corporate training approaches. Today, the company serves more than 50 organisations globally across sectors including cybersecurity awareness, talent development, and sales enablement. Its client roster includes luxury brand Prada, cosmetics giant L'Oréal, and insurance and risk management firm Aon.
The funding round drew participation from Club degli Investitori's partners—Vento, Doorway, and Zanichelli Venture—alongside a collection of prominent angel backers from the international technology and business communities:
- The four co-founders of Bending Spoons: Luca Ferrari, Matteo Danieli, Francesco Patarnello, and Luca Querella
- Luca Maestri, who previously served as CFO of Apple
- Riccardo Zacconi, founder of King.com, the studio behind Candy Crush
- Claudio Erba, founder of Docebo
- Alessio Artuffo, current CEO of Docebo
- Duccio Vitali, CEO of Alkemy Group
Nicolò Santin, CEO and co-founder of Gamindo, commented on the company's philosophy: "People don't hate corporate training. They hate wasting time. When content genuinely speaks to their job, asks them to make decisions, and lets them immediately put what they've learned into practice, the whole experience changes completely."
New AI Training Vertical Launches
Gamindo is rolling out a dedicated vertical focused exclusively on equipping workforces with skills for deploying AI responsibly and effectively. According to Matteo Albrizio, chief product officer and co-founder, simply purchasing access to tools like Copilot or Claude falls short of unlocking genuine productivity gains. Organisations must invest in teaching staff how to leverage these technologies within their actual workflows.
Albrizio elaborated: "Training has to start from practical use cases and turn into interactive, personalised experiences. That's why we decided to open this new vertical, to help companies increase people's productivity while measuring real adoption. That's why we turned years of experience into a platform that lets companies create this kind of training on their own, in just a few clicks."
The newly raised capital will be directed primarily toward hiring talent to accelerate both product innovation and international commercial expansion, while maintaining a compact team structure focused on high-calibre personnel.
