A partnership spanning VEMS, Biosphere Solar, JansZon BV, and Amsterdam's municipal government has received backing from MIT R&D for a €655K initiative aimed at advancing circular energy solutions. The subsidy represents 35 per cent of the overall project budget, with funds allocated across all participating organisations.

The scheme will deploy Biosphere Solar's recyclable photovoltaic panels at a site provided by Amsterdam's city government. JansZon BV will oversee the technical deployment, while VEMS will apply its capabilities in system optimisation and predictive maintenance to keep the installation running at peak efficiency. The collaboration seeks to integrate digital technologies with sustainable energy infrastructure, resulting in more intelligent and environmentally responsible power systems.
